It is hard to believe that Max is already 8 months old. He has five teeth now - three on the bottom and two up top, and is hoping to get the front two soon. He is very close to crawling which I am not quite ready for. One of his major accomplishments came last week when he finally started sleeping through the night, compared to waking up and wanting to eat ever 2-3 hours. We tried something different and it worked! He has since slept through the night the past 8 nights for which I am thrilled. Here are some recent pictures of Max. As you can see he is a very happy baby. He is also very easy going which Kerry says Max inherited from him. Hope you all are enjoying the Christmas season, as busy as it may be.
Take care!

Waiting out the storm at Grandpa and Grandma Dudeks'
Max went to his great grandparent's house today while I did some work at our shop. At the end of the day when I went to pick Max up my grandpa informed me that we were under a severe tornado watch so we all headed to the nice cool basement waited for the storm to pass.

Max and his Uncle Beau - Beau likes to go to Grandma
and Grandpa's on the days Max is there ... Beau's so good with babies.

Relaxing with Great Grandpa - Max's new favorite
past time is chewing on his fist and trying to get the
whole thing in his mouth. He's now starting to prefer his
hands or even thumb over his pacifier, which we gave
him with hopes that he would get attached to it
and NOT the thumb.

Relaxing on the lake

Unfortunately it wasn't very warm while the girls

were here so we were only able to fish on the boat - we'll

have to try tubing next time!

Max Meets His Cousins
Today Max's cousins and Aunt Sherri
arrived after a long drive from North Carolina.
The girls had good practice for their little brother who
will be born this September. If you ask the two year old
Lily what her brother's name should be she'll tell you
Chuck-E-Cheese, while Alaine prefers Jack Smith or Jack Brown.
They are both so much fun and always entertaining!

Weekend at Zach and Becky's
Sam, Max and I went to visit Zach and Becky for the weekend.
Max had one more uncle to meet (Tom). Zach, Sam, and Tom actually
babysat Max for a while while Becky and I went shopping.

Friday, May 2

Today Heidi, a nurse from the hospital came out to the house for a home visit. She weighed Max and he is now 6lbs, 15.5 oz. - just shy of 7. Sam got back from his internship in Nevada so Max got to meet another one of his uncles. Sam brought him a cool outfit from Baby Gap with a zebra on it.

Today was Max's first day at Grandma's daycare.
He had a great time. Hailey especially liked him - she really
kept him entertained.

Hanging out at the shop with Dad and meeting Borden.
We're so excited about meeting Borden's future brother or
sister next year - another little friend for Max to play with!

Always so sleepy.
