Thursday, April 17

Kerry had to be at work today so Aunt Becky stayed the night with us and kept us company (thanks Becky!). We were suposed to leave the hospital today, but stayed and extra night since Max was doing much better, but still wasn't eating great.

Max and the wonderful nurses that helped deliver him! We had many others that were great too. Everyone at Lakewood was so wonderful! I don't think we could have had a better experience.

Max with Dr. Benson, who we had only met twice before the delivery. Our original Dr. had the same due date as me, but had her baby 6 weeks early so had to swich Doctors. It worked out fine though ,Dr. Benson was great.

Doesn't he look BIG when little Aunt Becky is holding him!

Sleepy Max

He loves to have have his hands in his mouth. Though his Grandpa Krumwiede doesn't approve, we give Max a pacifier which he really likes. We figure you can eventually take away the pacifier, but it isn't so easy to break thumb sucking.

Dad learning how to swaddle Maxwell

Our most delicious dinner of chicken, shrimp, hot fudge sundae cheesecake and sparkling cider they served us the last night in the hospital.
